Post Office Recruitment 2021 – India Post Office has released a notification for recruitment to the post of Staff Car Driver/ GDS(Hyderabad, Telangana, Delhi Circles) . There are 3691 posts to be filled for GDS vacancies. Interested candidates who are all at the age of 18 to 30 years can apply for this job vacancy.

India Post Office works under the Department of Posts and under the Ministry of Communication. Its headquarters in Dak Bhawan, Sansad Marg, New Delhi. Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:
- Possession of a valid driving license for light & heavy motor vehicles.
- Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicle).
- Experience of driving light & heavy motor vehicle for at least three years.
- Pass in 10th Standard from a recognized Board or Institute.
Age Limit :
- For General – 18 to 27 years.
Relaxation in upper age limit:
- 5 years for SC & ST candidates
- 3 years for OBC candidates
- 10 years for PWD candidates (13 years for OBC, 15 years for SC/ST)
- Others as per Govt rules.

India Post Office Recruitment-Staff Car Driver Process:
- Selection of Driver shall be made on the basis of driving test to assess their competency to drive light and heavy motor vehicles, from amongst the candidates possessing the requisite eligibility criteria mentioned above. The date and venue of the tests will be intimated separately to the eligible candidates.
